Ateliers

An atelier (“art studio/working space” in French) is a creative workplace, a workshop or production site in which artistic practices and research movements can jointly emerge. In the context of continuing education work for Critical Diversity Literacy, we conceptualize, develop and realize “ateliers”. In these settings, we attempt to create contact zones for joint reflection and action. Structures of inequality can be explored therein and traced back to one’s own normalized practices.
