How can educational contexts be designed to do justice to the empirical diversity of people and things? How can diversity be enabled and inequalities counteracted? And what processes lead to inclusion and exclusion at the university?
Based on the project Teaching innovations on diversity, a podcast series produced by the School of Education of the FHNW sheds light on university courses that deal with questions of social justice and difference-sensitive didactics in sport, music and language programmes.. In the discussions with lecturers and students moderated by Serena Dankwa, a space for imagination and reflection is opened up for dealing with diversity in teaching and courses at the university in a way that is critical of discrimination.
The audio podcast provides direct insights into the conceptualization and implementation of diversity orientated teaching and learning and outlines possibilities for critically questioning the inequalities found and embedded in practices of higher education. The audio podcast addresses lecturers at universities of education and other higher education institutions, students and a broad audience with an interest in questions of education and diversity.
